Heritage Open Day: On the 30th anniversary of Heritage Open Days, come and explore Bristol Archives and celebrate our 100th birthday as we open for our annual peak behind the scenes. Bristol Archives is home to millions (no exaggeration) of documents – written records, photographs, maps, films and sound recordings – made by and about the people of Bristol over hundreds of years. From 12th century parchment documents to 21st century digital records we look after the stories of the city and make them available for everyone to view in our searchroom.
