Heritage Open Day: Stuart Manton presents a talk on the beginnings of Cheltenham's 'South Town' Cheltenham grew rapidly southwards in the early decades of the 19th century. This richly illustrated talk looks at how the area formerly known as 'south town' was created, whilst earlier industrial enterprise was overtaken by new residential streets.
