Lydney Masonic Centre Open Day
Heritage Open Day: The Masonic Centre is housed in a former GPO telephone exchange which was converted for masonic use on the 1990s A number of Masonic Lodges meet at the centre, the oldest of which is Vassar-Smith Lodge 2994 which was consecrated in 1903 and and formerly met at the Feathers Hotel in Lydney.
This is an opportunity to visit all aspects of the Masonic Centre building, including the Lodge Room, Dining areas and facilities. The will be a display of Masonic artefacts and regalia associated with Freemasonry in the local area and the wider Masonic Province of Gloucestershire.
