Goathurst Village Heritage Trail-St Edward, King and Martyr Church
Heritage Open Day: Visit the church as part of the unique Goathurst Village Heritage Trail. View the wealth of ancient tombs and monuments to the Halswell-Kemeys-Tynte families and discover the fascinating links between the church and nearby Halswell House and Park. This year's Village Heritage Trail is ideally suited to the Festival's theme of routes, networks and connections as we invite visitors to explore the bonds between the various venues on the route: St Edward's Church, Halswell House and Park, the Halswell follies of Robin Hood Hut (Landmark Trust) and the privately owned Temple of Pan and, for the first time, an exhibition in the Village Hall of 'how people and events in history have shaped the village'.
