Heritage Open Day: Join us in Street, Somerset to see the history of shoemaking and non conformity brought to life as you walk, sashay and glide through our heritage walking trail and visit our historic Grade II Listed house, The Grange, for a picnic and lawn games For Heritage Open Days 2024, we will be celebrating the history of shoemaking in Street and how this industry changed the landscape of a small rural village which became the hub for a global shoemaking brand. From your first steps on this newly developed heritage trail, you will experience Street through a lens of non conformity and refuge and the connections that have endured through time.
