Open doors and drawers at Mompesson House
Heritage Open Day: Discover the interiors of some of our collection items this Heritage Open Week as we open our doors and drawers. Our exhibition theme for the season is the suppliers who brought things to Mompesson House, and we'll be looking at some of our furniture in a new light - how beauty supplies reached the dressing table, how door-to-door salespeople might have brought sewing supplies and what food was prepared on-site. Our famous stumpwork will be on display again, exclusively for this season and event.
