Masonic Hall & Stained Glass Windows
Heritage Open Day: A chance to see the interior of a mid-nineteenth century chapel and explore its current use as a Masonic hall. This is an excellent chance to view the 15 stained glass windows which are now only visible from inside this building.
The former Primitive Methodist Chapel was purchased by the Masons in 1972. This building dates from 1866 and was built in the Gothic style. It still retains some original pews, a balcony and a working organ. The pipe rack organ was built by Steele & Keay of Burslem, date unknown.
It will be possible to visit the ground floor and also to view the museum of the two Lodges based there.
