Victorian Potters' Mill in Steam and Operating and Vintage Stationary Engine and Classic Vehicle Ral

Heritage Open Day: An 1857 bone and flint mill driven by an 1820s beam engine powered by a 1903 boiler in steam and operating. On Saturday a Vintage Stationary Engine Rally and on Sunday a Classic Vehicle Rally at a canal side location. Film about the Caldon Canal. See Shirley’s 1857 Etruscan Bone & Flint Mill in steam and driven by an 1820s beam engine with steam generated in a locally built 1903 boiler operating as in Victorian days. Engine running 1230 to 1630 starting on the hour.
On Saturday 7th September Vintage Stationary Engines and on Sunday 8th September Classic Cars and Commercial Vehicles from 1100 to 1630.
Museum. tea room, gift shop and toilets in the Visitor Centre.
Artist Blacksmith Demonstrations in the Forge.
