Beautiful 13th century church open in Hillmorton Rugby
Heritage Open Day: Our beautiful 13th century church set beside the West Coast Railway line and the Oxford Canal welcomes visitors all the year round but for Heritage Weekend we will be offering refreshments and a personal welcome with the opportunity for reflection. Our church has been part of the community for seven centuries, serving Hillmorton, which is part of Rugby. It is bounded by the main West Coast rail line, the Oxford Canal (known as the Church by the Locks) and the old Rugby Radio Station site, now being developed as a major housing estate.
The church contains artefacts from the centuries, including some interesting tombs and memorials. This is a working church supported by an active congregation.
