St. Alphege Church Solihull Open Day
Heritage Open Day: St. Alphege Church, named for the Archbishop of Canterbury murdered by the Danes in 1012, is an 800 year old building in the heart of Solihull. Join us for tours of church and tower, refreshments and information about activities and local history. St. Alphege hoped to join HODs for the church’s 800th anniversary, but Covid prevented that. After an interregnum, we now have a new Rector who is very keen to reach out to the whole local community and holding a church open day coinciding with national HODs seemed an ideal opportunity.
