About this Event
Alderson House, Warwick
Heritage Open Day: An outstanding, post Great Fire of Warwick, Georgian building, completed in 1695, retaining many original features and a lovely garden. Once the home of Lord and Lady Ilkeston, it is now the meeting place for the Freemasons of Warwick. Come and have a tour of our lovely building, see the impressive original grand staircase, the scary cellars and other original features.
Don't be fooled by the front door, it doesn't open! Access is from our car park in Back Lane. If you are able to come up the steps into the house, turn right and wait in the bar for the next tour. If less able to go through the door on the lower level, go to the end of the passage and turn left, there is a lift.
