Dame Elizabeth Hall: part of Bournville Heritage Open Day
Heritage Open Day: This unique building was opened in 1930, and in 1959 was renamed Dame Elizabeth Hall. The hall is managed by group of volunteers from Bournville Village Council who were formed in 1903. The Hall will be displaying some film footage of the Bournville Village Festival over the years which has been going since 1903. We will also have items on display from the festival including the May Queens Chair. With the hall very much at the heart of the community there will be a display from local groups which we hope people will join in.
We are also pleased to welcome a local artist by the name of Tracey Fleming who will be displaying some of her work with the opportunity to purchase some very unique pieces of art of the local area.
