Haden Old Hall Open Day
Heritage Open Day: Haden Old Hall was originally built in the late 1600s and now stands next to the newer and more fashionable Victorian Haden Hill House. This is a chance to explore this fascinating building and its stories. Explore and discover Haden Old Hall and its chequered history. First built in the late 1600s as the Haden family's wealth and status grew this fascinating building has suffered being made into 2 dwellings, fire, neglect and faced demolition before it was saved by the local community.
The Old Hall stands next to Haden Hill House, a Victorian gentleman's residence now a furnished historic house museum, which was built when the Haden family no longer wanted to live in the old, draft hall. Haden Old Hall is open 2;30pm-4:30pm but you can also visit the Victorian House 2pm-6pm. Entry Free. You can also book onto our talk about the Hall (see separate listing)
