Heritage Open Day: To run alongside our photographic exhibition enjoy this Friday morning talk at 11am about the exhibition and how Sandwell came into being. This talk which runs alongside our photographic exhibition, looks at why and how Sandwell came into being, and where the name Sandwell comes from as you won't find it on any map!
Before Sandwell there were six towns, each with their own industries, each different from one another. We look at the history of each of these six towns, the people that made them, and what Sandwell has achieved in its history.
