Heritage Open Day: Stourbridge Quaker Meeting House is one of one of the very few remaining purpose built, original 17th century Quaker Meeting Houses in this country, and we will be telling our visitors about its history and transformations it has undergone. Stourbridge Quaker Meeting House was built in 1689 and has remained in continuous use for Quaker Meetings and Gatherings ever since. It has undergone many changes, restorations and additions such as the children's room, the common and lobby areas and kitchen, as well as a wheelchair friendly toilet in order to still serve its original purpose. It is one of the oldest buildings in Stourbridge.
