Heritage Open Day: Come and explore this atmospheric Elizabethan farmhouse that saved a King. Moseley old Hall is a modest home with an extraordinary story, so bring along your family on Saturday 7th September and experience all that this 17th century farmhouse has to offer, entirely free of charge! Throughout the day there will be traditional lawn games around for you to play, a family craft to get stuck into and lots of fascinating history for you to discover. In the Hall, experience the the truth of 17th century living - you may even see a 17th century character or two! Beyond the Hall, explore the gardens and woodland as the leaves begin to change colour as Autumn approaches; build a den and climb to the top of the treehouse, see the orchard brimming with fruit ahead of the Apple Harvest festival later in September, and stretch your legs through both Stablecroft Meadow and Big Meadow.
