Celebrating Heritage and Surprising Connections at Hampton Lovett Church and Parish Rooms, Worcester
Heritage Open Day: Please come along and discover Hampton Lovett's role as an historic connections hub! Help us, as well, in celebrating the reopening of the C14th tower after repair and conservation works and maybe take a tower tour. Hampton Lovett's railway and footpath connections are featured in our exhibits this year. See a working model of the local railway, the church and the old Cutnall Green Halt. Hear about Operation Starfish in World War II. Why not bring your own 'OO' gauge engine and see it running!
Discover the Monarch's Way footpath passing through the churchyard, the escape route of the future King Charles II after the Battle of Worcester in 1651. Learn about Hampton Lovett's connection with the Royalist cause.
