Mosaics by the Pool
Heritage Open Day: Reimagine Redditch and Batchley Support Group are pleased to invite the residents of Batchley to discover how Batchley Pool was developed in 2003, and its crowning jewel: a community mosaic artwork on the wall next to the children's play area. The afternoon will involve an exhibition of the story of how the pool and the mosaics came into being, the development of the pool and the mosaic artwork hosted by Batchley Support Group. Alongside the exhibition, Jackie Nash, a local professional mosaic artist, will run ‘make a mosaic tile’ activities, that you can take home and find out more about mosaic artwork. No previous experience needed and great fun to do as an individual or in a group.
