Heritage Open Day: Have you ever wondered what it is really like to live in an ancient castle? Sir Thomas Ingilby gives us an amusing insight into some of the challenges and hilarious moments that he has faced during his 50 year tenure at Ripley Castle. Sir Thomas' talk will be hosted by All Saints' Church in Ripley village, Yorkshire. Situated just opposite the castle All Saints' will welcome you to their 600 year old church with it own historical stories from the sinking chapel via musket ball indentations from Cromwell in the east wall to a 21st century Church Trail for children.
