Heritage Open Day: From 6th-15th September St John's Sharow will be open to explore the fantastic windows, interesting graveyard, take part in Colouring Calm activities and have a go at bellringing. Our event will be launched on 6th September by ringing the bells. Built in 1824 St John's Sharow id hosting a number of events to celebrate the churches bicentennial. Activities available throughout Heritage Open days are include a quiz to find the animals displayed in church, Colouring Calm creating your own beautiful copy of the stain glass windows, finding interesting grave and learning about wildlife management in the graveyard, and on Friday 6th and Monday 9th learning about bells and having a go at bell ringing.
