Heritage Open Day: Living Potential are restoring an 1850s Walled Garden back to its former glory, a garden not open to public for over 175 years. Bring a picnic, hear about the site's chequered history and explore this picturesque part of North Yorkshire. From 1200-1600, we will be hosting an informal drop in, where you can enjoy the Walled Garden's space. Bring your own picnic and hear about the history of the Walled Garden and about our restoration plans.
It is very early days in our restoration of the Walled Garden, but we'd like to open up the space to you so you can see how it is today, nearly 175 years on. Aside from a history tour, we will provide self-guided walking leaflets so you can enjoy your time in our tiny patch of North Yorkshire.
