All Saints Ecclesall – explore the church, grounds, its history and heritage
Heritage Open Day: Explore the Grade II listed church building, first built in the 18th century, and discover the 10 acres of church grounds, its vast array of nature, and over 10,000 graves. Guided tours, displays, graveyard enquiries, family activities. Saturday 7th September 10.00-15.00
The church and grounds are open with self-guided tours of the church and people available to answer family graveyard queries. Family nature packs available with magnifying glasses, colouring sheets, and wildlife guides.
Inside church there will be a display of the history of All Saints and the wider Ecclesall area, and an exhibition of the church’s collection of specially commissioned embroidered stoles and Communion set.
