An open weekend at Mount Zion Heritage Chapel, tours, talks; a chance to explore this wonderful grade II* listed building and the stories that it tells. Set in beautiful countryside, Mount Zion is one of two heritage chapels in Calderdale and a Grade II* listed building. The first chapel on the Mount Zion site was built in 1773. The original sexton's cottage still exists, but the main body of the Chapel is later and dates from 1815. The Chapel is surrounded by an extensive monumental graveyard.
