Heritage Open Day: Come along to a relaxed evening of music, dance and a bit of history. Briggate Morris will dance Northwest clog to live music on traditional instruments. Learn about the history of Northwest Morris and the Central Methodist Church. Briggate Morris began in Leeds in 1985. Dancing in the Northwest style, we currently have about 30 active members, dancers and musicians, of all ages. We are always happy to welcome new members to our friendly, mixed side.
For the last 10 years, we have practised on Monday evenings at the Central Methodist Chapel, fostering excellent relationships with the Methodist Church family. We have enjoyed their hospitality and have supported various fundraising events.
