Britain's What's On Event Guide
East Riddlesden Hall
Heritage Open Day: A historic Yorkshire manor and intimate gardens, a hidden oasis on the edge of a West Yorkshire town. Enjoy homemade treats in the tearoom, find the perfect gift in the shop or burn off some energy in the Discovery garden or trim trail play areas. Join us this September for a free day of fun. Try out our trim trail tucked behind the Bothy, can you balance your way to the end? Under fives will love following the paths through the yew trees to our Discovery Garden, where they can make a messy, muddy creation in the mud pie kitchen. Don't forget to visit our Discovery Room and join in with our free crafting activity. East Riddlesden Hall was a home for almost 500 years, it was once the heart of a thriving farming estate. Today the house tells the tales of ambition, success and failure of those who lived and worked here.
