Guided Town Walk
Heritage Open Day: On Sunday 8th September 2024 we are conducting a Guided Town Walk of Wetherby. See our lovely leaping Salmon and visit our Georgian Bath House, and our Council Offices. We begin our walk on the banks of the River Wharfe, taking in the history of the town. Visit the Bath House and find out how it was used and by whom. Whilst here take in the views of the River Wharfe over the surrounding lovely gardens. From here we cross the main road and visit the Council Offices which have an Art Nouveau staircase with stained glass windows, and have a look at the Council Chamber. As your walk continues you will hear interesting tales of Wetherby past and present.
