2024 Herts Open Studios | Paul Hunter Exhibition

2024 Herts Open Studios | Paul Hunter Exhibition

2024 Herts Open Studios
This September, Herts Open Studios returns with 162 artists exhibiting across 77 venues throughout Hertfordshire. This annual event enables artists and makers to open their studio doors, to meet visitors, talk about and demonstrate their work, and engage with an audience of art enthusiasts.

Our members are a diverse group, showcasing many different skills and media. We have leather work and landscapes in Letchworth, wood turning and watercolours in Welwyn and sculpture and seascapes in St Albans, plus painters and potters popping up all over the county

Herts Open Studios runs from 7 – 29 September, but you can visit Paul’s exhibition here at Trestle, until the 21 of October.

About Paul Hunter

Paul Hunter is an adventurous landscape painter who is interested in the unique character of where we live. Living in Singapore has shifted his colour palette and inspiration to include tropical plants and shophouses. The making of these paintings is both on location and in the studio. Painting the ever-changing light on location feeds a sense of urgency and energy into his painting. Studio painting takes a deeper, calmer approach using a variety of tools and media. A sense of wonder and curiosity of the natural drama is at heart throughout.
Entry is free and the exhibition is open during normal opening hours, please click here for more information. For enquiries about the exhibition space at Trestle, please contact our Gallery Programmer Elaine Johnson at gallery@trestle.org.uk | 01727 850950
