Britain's What's On Event Guide
Open Day festival @ B&I Quaker Meeting House
The historic Brentford & Isleworth Quaker Meeting House is once again opening up its doors as part of the Open House festival!
On the 21st September, visitors of all ages will be invited to explore and enjoy this unique 18th century building and grounds, learn about its fascinating history, and enjoy a variety of workshops and performances from local artists and makers. Events include contemporary and classical music performances, crafting sessions, and more, plus information and activity sheets for self-guided exploration. The full programme is on our website at bandiquakers.org.uk/open-house/. Refreshments provided.
There is level access via ramps to both buildings onsite (though please be aware the grounds can be uneven), and a hearing loop available in the main Meeting Room. Toilets are available, including an accessible toilet and baby-changing facilities.
Open from 10-6, the day (and all activities) are free of charge, though some require booking in advance to register numbers. For information and to book in, please see Open House’s website at programme.openhouse.org.uk/listings/2688.
