Set in the 1620s, a young swordsman comes to Paris, seeking to join the Royal guards;. Initially refused, but determined to prove his worth and loyalty, he leads in thwarting plots against the King and Queen, by the King's chief advisor; Cardinal Richelieu, while making friends with three of the Kings Musketeers, in the process.
