Denby Pottery Village is holding a Community Weekend on 14th & 15th September. There will be local Charities to welcome you including popular Guide Dogs, Blood Bikes, Parrots in Need and to talk to us all on how to keep safe is a Police Community Support Officer.
There are plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy including free access to the Museum on both days 10am-4pm where our team will be on hand to talk you through Denby's fascinating history. The family-friendly Denby Craft Studio is open 9am-12 noon on Saturday and all day on Sunday to paint a piece of Denby or on a fun shape (to avoid disappointment please book: denbypottery.digitickets.co.uk/event-tickets/33581) and on Saturday afternoon the Craft Studio is holding a ‘Paint your own Vase Workshop’ with Cathie our skilled artist for those over 18yrs. (Booking advised to ensure your place: denbypottery.digitickets.co.uk/event-tickets/56065).
There will be plenty to eat and drink including burgers and hot dogs from the Denby Farm Shop Greedy Pig Butchers, woodfired Pizza, Jacket Potatoes from Bournes Hatch plus, a selection of homecooked Derbyshire Dishes available at Bourne's Coffee Shop & Bistro or lighter bites (to eat in or take away) from the Farm Shop Café. And to finish are Emma’s wonderful Whippy Ice Creams and Emma’s delicious Cakes.
There are also bargains galore as Denby has been clearing its Warehouse in readiness for Christmas stock and there will be a huge pop-up shop in the Courtyard Pavilion with up to 75% off RRP representing exceptional value with lots of unique bargains and trial pieces.
It’s an ideal time to get ready for Christmas entertaining and top up with plates and bowls from £3.50 each and serving dishes, all carrying Denby’s inherent qualities and made to its award winning environmental and sustainability ethos.
