Britain's What's On Event Guide
Harmony singing day
This is a fun-filled day of harmony singing taught in Chris Rowbury‘s unique style: lashings of humour, oodles of fun, and a firm but gentle hand on the steering wheel.
Cost £30, book online at www.chrisrowbury.com/london
Come and learn harmony songs from a range of cultures and traditions across the globe, all arranged especially for voice only. Chris will always teach everything by ear (no need to read music). No previous experience is needed – bring yourself and have a go. Whether you’ve only sung in the shower or already in a choir, there will be something here for everyone. All in a fun, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Chris Rowbury has 30 years of experience teaching and running workshops in singing, voice, and theatre. He is a patient, charismatic teacher with a relaxed style laced with plenty of humour. He will get you singing in wonderful harmony in a matter of minutes!
St. Andrew’s Church, Waterloo, is a light and airy venue just 4 minutes’ walk from Southwark tube station, 6 minutes’ walk from Waterloo East, and 8 minutes’ walk from Waterloo Station. It is near both the Old Vic and Young Vic, and there are plenty of grocery stores and coffee shops in the area. There is also a small park, Ufford Street Gardens, nearby if it’s sunny at lunchtime.
