Short Tail Trail Farewell Weekend Event

The event will be held from 11am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, and until 4pm on Friday. The exact event line up varies depending on the day. Admission cost £5 for adults, £3 for under 16s, and under 5s go free. Tickets can be purchased in advance at shorttailtrail.co.uk/events/farewell-event/ or on the door.

Short Tail Trail Farewell Weekend Event
All 90 hare and tortoise sculptures from this summer’s Short Tail Trail will be on show together at Stockwood Discovery Centre to mark the close of the animal trail. To celebrate the success of the trail, a fun-filled Farewell Weekend event will take place, comprising:
- Live music, from local artists including Line of Sight and Joe Corrigan
- Arts and crafts zone
- Opportunity to meet some of the professional artists who decorated the sculptures
- ‘Game On’ retro gaming exhibition
- Glitter tattoos
- Take a ‘shelfie’ zone
- Jez the magician
- Hare and tortoise storytelling
- Opportunity to learn more about wildlife from Wildlife Trust
- Starry Eyes raffle with prizes to be won
- Bonsai displays and masterclasses
Once admitted, all entertainment is free. A fantastic value-for-money day out for all the family. All proceeds to Keech Hospice Care
