Fused Glass Lantern Workshop
Nat's Yates is a fantastic glass artist and is well known across the North East. Her stunning work is on display and for sale in our shop area and regularly sells out. This workshop also sold out really quickly last time, so be quick to snap up your ticket!
Join Nat in the next of her creative workshops at the Heritage Centre and create your own beautiful fused glass lantern.
During the workshop you will be decorating four individual panels with coloured glass, frits and stringers that will become the side panels of the lantern.
Explore your own ideas or be guided using one Nat's templates for inspiration.
Once made, the panels will be taken back to Nat's kiln and fired and set into the lantern frame, ready for collection from the Heritage Centre around a week later. The finished lantern is suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
A lamp and selection of colourful resources and glass materials will be provided to help you create your own unique piece.
So why not treat yourself to a creative workshop, come along with a friend, or maybe buy as a unique gift for someone special.
Suitable for beginners or those with some experience. 16+
