Britain's What's On Event Guide
Apple Day 2024
Apple Day returns on Sunday 13 October between 11am and 4pm with free entry to visitors.
The annual event promises a wide range of activities to entertain the whole family including: arts and crafts, live music and over 40 market stalls selling an array of food, drinks and hand-made crafts, with further attractions still to be confirmed.
A traditional apple press on the front lawn will be the star attraction with Gerry Stuart and his demonstrators turning apples into juice and describing how to transform the juice into delicious homemade scrumpy. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own apples for pressing, for a small donation.
Alongside Apple Day activities, resident Cockington Court makers will be showcasing their creative skills in their studios, providing visitors with the opportunity to learn about their craft and purchase their creations.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to still explore the free, pirate-themed Sculpture Trail which runs until the beginning of November.
We look forward to welcoming you to Cockington Court to celebrate Apple Day with us.
