Haydn: The Seasons
The Cornerstone Chamber Choir, Orchestra and Guest Soloists offer Haydn's great final oratorio 'The Seasons'. Featuring soaring arias, dramatic ensembles and exhilarating choral fugues, this work is considered by many to be even finer than Haydn's earlier oratorio 'The Creation'. It is rich in pictorial detail, reflecting the character of each season and the beauty of the natural world. Haydn's orchestration is masterly.
