Samling Academy in Concert
Enjoy an afternoon of talent, dedication and passion with the North East’s unique training programme for classical singers, Samling Academy. In this concert of song and opera, thirty of the region's finest young singers will be sharing what they have been working on over six days of intensive coaching and workshops, led by world-class singers, coaches, pianists and stagecraft specialists. The music they’ll be singing is selected from what they’ve chosen to work on during the course and we can promise you a lively mixture of solos, duets and ensembles, with familiar favourites and new discoveries.
The singers will be joined on stage by star Samling Artist pianists Jonathan Ware, Ian Tindale, Jo Ramandan, Marianna Abrahamyan, Ella O’Neill, Daniel Peter Silcock.
