The i2i 'Get into Teaching’ Information seminar and tour at Thamesmead School in Shepperton will help you decide if training to teach is for you:
- We will give you an overview of a career in teaching, explain the different routes to becoming a teacher, the application process, bursaries available and gaining school experience
- Learn about teacher training with the i2i Teaching Partnership SCITT, our locations across Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and W. London, and how to apply
- See a school day in action with a tour of the school and witness how teaching is delivered in the classrooms
- Speak with representatives from the teaching profession and chat to current trainees to find out the answers to your questions
We look forward to welcoming all those interested in a career as a secondary school teacher including members of the public in other careers, university students, graduates who have not yet settled on a career and to those already working in schools. Please note that in order to train to teach you need to hold a Level 6 Degree.
