A St Ives care home is opening its doors to the community for a day of Harvest Festival fun at its artisan farmers market.
On Wednesday 9th October, from 10.30am-3pm, Care UK’s Field Lodge on London Road is welcoming the community to visit the market, which will showcase local produce.
Guests can enjoy artisan stalls offering fresh eggs, jams, pickles, fruit and vegetables, baked goods and tipples from a local brewery.
As part of their Harvest Festival celebrations, Field Lodge also partnered with All Saints Parish Hall to collect donations for St Ives Foodbank.
Linda Martinez, Home Manager at Field Lodge, said: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming local people to celebrate Harvest Festival with us by visiting our artisan farmers market.
“We’re part of a strong community here in St Ives, and we’re looking forward to seeing some familiar faces – and some new ones – and showing people exactly what life is like here at Field Lodge.
We are committed to making a positive impact in our communities, so to celebrate Harvest Festival this year, we’re proud to have donated much-needed items to St Ives Food Bank.
