Martin Roscoe hardly needs any introduction. Hundreds of Radio 3 broadcasts, regular appearances with most of Britain’s leading orchestras, extensive recital tours and many recordings have made him one of our most prominent classical musicians. In his first Milngavie recital he offers a kaleidoscopic exploration of piano colour ranging from Polish composer Szymanowski’s perfumed exoticism to the virtuoso magnificence of Liszt’s St Francis de Paule.
