Leicester Philharmonic choir's season opens with one of the undisputed masterpieces of the twentieth century choral repertoire - Durufle's Requiem. The concert also features Poulenc's short but radiant Gloria, and to complete the concert programme we have two shorter pieces by Britten and Stanford.
Our soloists for the evening are: Alison Rose - soprano, Ariyibi Olaoluwa Jedidiah - treble and
Andrew Ashwin - baritone. Our organist is Rosemary Field and our conductor is our own Director of Music, Dr Stephen Bullamore.
