GILIL presents Anna Erhard live at Coventry Central Library
Anna Erhard set to play all ages gig at Coventry Central Library...
In collaboration with Get It Loud In Libraries, the rising indie artist will play a special evening set at Coventry Central Library to kick off her nationwide tour.
The Swiss born, Berlin based artist is an indie pop bomb packed full of humour and sunny witticism in equal parts. This is the tip of the musical ice-berg when it comes to rising artist Anna Erhard’s music; who’s brand of erudite indie brandishes a tongue in cheek precision that has seen her become a firm favourite at BBC Radio 6 music and a sought after addition to breakthrough venues.
Her upcoming album ‘Botanical Garden’ offers a steely critique of modern life, the dogged pursuit of happiness, growth and (in some cases literally) the pain of measuring yourself up against other people: All the songs are kind of about comparing, and rating somehow that was really a big topic on this album.
With a knack for turning relatable musings into the danceable hooks, Anna’s Coventry show is sure to set the stacks swaying.
