Strand International Song Series
International opera stars return for an exciting second season of London's newest classical song series held in the intimate space of The Jewel in the Strand, St Mary le Strand. These six recitals, curated by soprano Susan Parkes, will cover a broad spectrum of composers and feature some of the most talented singers and accompanying artists performing today.

William Morgan is a British operatic tenor. He works as a principal artist for some of the UK's leading opera theatres, as well as for companies overseas, in a diverse repertoire encompassing both classical roles and new compositions. William made his ENO debut as YOUNGER MAN in Tansy Davies’ Between Worlds Barbican Theatre. As an ENO Harewood Artist he sang PETER QUINT The Turn of the Screw, HOT BISCUIT SLIM Paul Bunyan, and PHAETON in Jonathan Dove’s The Day After. Other opera work includes roles in Falstaff Royal Liverpool Philharmonic (with Bryn Terfel), YOUNG KING (cover) Lessons in Love
Annabel Thwaite Recognised as one of the most versatile and charismatic pianists, Annabel has won all the major accompanying prizes, including the prestigious Kathleen Ferrier, Gold Medal, and Richard Tauber Piano Prizes. She has collaborated with renowned artists such as Roberto Alagna, Sir Bryn Terfel, David Kempster, “Only Men Aloud!”, the Michael Clark Company and Ensemble Midtvest.
