Britain's What's On Event Guide
Mystical Ecstasy by AURIC
Mystical Ecstasy immerses audiences in the works of 17th-century Iberic-American writers like Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz and Santa Teresa de Jesús. Adapted by actress, director and singer Paula Rodriguez and set to music by French composer Arthur Astier, the performance celebrates the courage of these Golden Age female authors who defied conventions to express their voices.
On stage, a musician and actress create an intimate, electric atmosphere through words and sound. The show reflects on themes of hope and resilience and embraces Universal Design to ensure full inclusion.
