RCTA Halloween Floating Market,
The Roving Canal Traders Association are excited to announce they are holding a Halloween themed floating market on the towpath of the Grand Union Canal below Cosgrove Lock MK19 7JR Saturday and Sunday 26th and 27th October 2024. There will be lots of trading boats with interesting crafts on sale showing amazing talent and a range of fantastic unique items available for you to buy. Oh my we are having great fun thinking up ideas for our traders Pumpkin carving competition . Each boat will do their best to decorate the spookiest, craziest pumpkin and we need you to be our judges. Pick up a free sheet and score the pumpkins displayed on the boats. Why not pop along to our floating market, grab a posh coffee, add some pumpkin spice or have an ice cream if you dare ! Check out the talented crafters all offering something a little bit different than the High Street. Also there is a free guess the word competition for our younger visitors. Plenty of tricks and treats in store. You will find us below lock 21 on the Grand Union Canal at Cosgrove. Walk on the towpath a little way passed the market and take a look at the Cosgrove cast iron Aqueduct. Built to take the canal over the River Great Ouse. On the borders between Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire, between Cosgrove and Wolverton at the north west margin of Milton Keynes in England. Looking forward to seeing you!
