Big Sky Orchestra
Big Sky Orchestra are a five-piece British band, with music that draws from soft rock, funk and Americana. Big Sky's live show is based on the ethos of the 60/70's West Coast jam band scene, with a British feel retained. A jazz rhythm section backing up two rock and roll guitar players and soaring vocal harmonies builds an intricate and improvised, yet always driving brand of Funk Americana.
The approach is built upon the improvisation and expression of each member, with songs cycled into one another and two lead guitars trading off throughout, meaning no two Big Sky shows are ever the same.
