Next Level Folk Presents Pete Kelly (Plus Enda McCabe) at the Talbot

Next Level Folk is pleased to present Pete Kelly live at The Talbot Hotel.
Pete Kelly is a pretty impressive chap. A former international athlete and deputy headmaster, his songs masterfully present stories from across his experiences of life. His voice and fingerstyle guitar have been seasoned by over sixty years of playing. Anyone who knows Pete will attest that he's also one of the nicest blokes you could hope to meet. His warmth and wit make him one of the best-loved entertainers in the Midlands folk world and his name is a byword for quality and the guarantee of a damn good night of music. You don't want to miss this one.

Support is from Enda McCabe, from Galway, Ireland. Enda is a highly experienced songwriter and performer who has three albums under his belt. Born in Dublin, he is now based in Conamara, Co. Galway. He has performed extensively in Ireland, Britain, France, Belgium, Austria and the USA, including collaborations with the likes of Tim Edey, Róisín El Safty, and Johnny Connolly. After a break for health reasons, he is back on the road. His show, which is lively, funny and filled with great songs and music, is better than ever. Enda effortlessly switches between traditional songs (in both his native Irish language and English) linking them with fascinating stories, most of which are based on personal experiences from his lifelong journey in music. Enda holds an M.A. in Irish Traditional Music Performance from the University of Limerick and runs workshops in songwriting and traditional Irish music. We look forward to hearing his music, song and stories!
