Masterclass: Design Thinking and Creative Problem Solving in Business

Discover the magic of design thinking! In this dynamic session, we’ll ignite your problem-solving superpowers. We’ll focus on fostering a user-centered approach to innovation, encouraging you to think differently about solving problems in your business.

Here’s what’s in store:

Part 1: Getting started:
Design thinking and its importance in innovation.
Explanation of the five stages of design thinking: Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test.

Part 2: Empathise and Define:
Empathise: What makes your customers tick? Put yourselves in their shoes to understand their needs, pains, and gains.
Define: What are the core problems your customers face? We’ll craft problem statements that are user-centered and actionable.

Part 3: Ideate and Prototype
Ideate: What are your solutions to your customers’ problems? We’ll use creative techniques (such as mind mapping and SCAMPER) to generate a wide range of solutions to the defined problems.
Prototype: Let’s take one or two promising ideas and build simple, low-fidelity solution and/or prototypes – let your creativity flow!

Part 4: Test and Feedback
Why feedback and iteration in the design thinking process is so important.
It’s show and tell time! You’ll present your solution and/or prototype to the group. As a team, we’ll explore how well your solution addresses your customers challenges and give you invaluable feedback.
At the end of the masterclass, you’ll be able to put design thinking at the heart of your product and/or service development process. Your customers will love you putting them at the heart of your business.
