Surface is proud to present Timestamp, a group exhibition that brings together the work of five artists.
Timestamp: not only a moment in time, but a physical location in space to gather. These artists explore the trajectory of their individual practices post-MFA. Tutt’s frictional drawings gesture movement. Ponyiczki’s painted symbols tap into the unconscious. Fitz’s sculptures read anew the world, changing it into something else. Explore how their artworks interact, discover unexpected connections, and reflect on the impact of their gathering in Nottingham.
Timestamp opens in the Project Space in conjunction with EM24: Escape Simplicity in the Main Gallery. As always, there will be a donations bar with ales from local brewery, Pheasantry.
