Botanical print workshop
Take a calming break from busy life to enjoy an evening discovering the art of creating stunning botanical prints using leaves and flowers!
In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore texture, colour, and composition to craft your own unique designs. Local Oxfordshire artist, Emma Williams will guide you through an easy, accessible printing process, introducing the tools and techniques before you start printing on various paper and fabric. The decorative papers you create can be used for further crafting projects like collage and cardmaking and the printed fabrics can be used as a base for embroidery, quilting or patchwork.
This workshop will help unlock your creativity while producing beautiful, nature-inspired artworks. All materials provided - just bring your imagination!
About the Artist:
Emma Williams grew up in rural Devon between coast and moorland, and visiting both of these environments were formative experiences in her childhood. The countryside that surrounds her now in Oxfordshire informs her art. Emma inspires creativity and environmental consciousness in all her workshops.
