About this Event

FREE taster session with the Bristol Rock Choir

If you have ever thought 'I want to join a choir near me in Bristol?' then why not join your local Rock Choir.

The Bristol Rock Choir is led by vocal teacher Alex Hawker. The Bristol branch is part of the unique national singing family that is Rock Choir. Whilst retaining our focus on Bristol community causes and events, all the local Avon choirs come together in regional and even national groups for bigger events, such performing en masse at the Liverpool Arena, achieving album sales that enter the charts, nationwide flaskmobs and Guinness World Records and helping to raise millions for charity. Joining this incomparable musical national treasure is very easy, there are no auditions, there's no need to read music and we're open to everyone in your local community!

We rehearse every week during the school calendar and you can come along to any rehearsal that is convenient to you for your FREE taste of what singing with your local choir is like. You can book for you and your friends at https://www.rockchoir.com/join. What are you waiting for? It's a FREE singing session near you!

Here is a quote about our choir - 'I can only echo what people have said about Rock Choir. It's had such an impact on mine and other's lives. A fantastic outlet for singing feel-good songs, the ones we all enjoy to listen to - and the opportunity to be part of a group producing an amazing sound. I've made so many friends and had many fantastic experiences during my last 5 years with Rock Choir and look forward to many more!' - Emma (Rock Choir member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
